MIA

I know I have been MIA for awhile. I have been busy as a bee, organizing and painting our home. HARD HARD work with two children underfoot. But I finished Isaac room in two weeks. I am starting Ainsley's room by the end of this week. Here is Isaac's freshly painted room. . . still missing pictures on the wall, but you get the general idea.

Every wall is a different color, and I LOVE it. The big brown stripe on the "accent" wall, is chalkboard paint and also magnetic. (sorry the lighting was weird, but the colors are all the same)

This is why it has taken me two weeks to just paint Isaac's room. While I am busy working, and I am thinking my sweet children are busy playing, they are really busy getting into trouble. This was today's mess. While I am cleaning out the guest room, getting ready to paint, the kids found acrylic paint and decided to paint the bathtub. Gotta love it! (Janette this is for you since you think my kids are SO FUNNY! If you want to send Ryan over for some REAL PUNK training. . . feel free!)

Kind of pretty after draining the water! LOL! My kids have talent!

I will be sparse for the next while, but will update as I get new pictures of finished rooms. We will also be taking a little vacation to AZ in the near future, adding to lack of blogging. Here are my cute kids, dressed in their Sunday best, to hold you over until my next post.

Okay, I LOVE the stripes on Isaac's wall. That is awesome...and I bet it did take you forever!

And oh the bathtub! Omigosh. I think I'd die before I started laughing... but then laugh because "what do you do?"

Have fun on your trip to AZ...Should be nice and warm! :)

Love how you did Isaac's room!

And hey, if Mom is painting the walls, why can't they paint the bathtub? They're just helping you out. :)

Cute cute cute! I love his room! I have always wanted to do stipes like that but am too scared to try and make them turn out so straight and perfect like that. What is the secret? (besides lots of patience) :)

Yikes! At least they contained the painting to the bathtub... it could have been much worse. Isaac's room looks super cute. I didn't know they made brown chalkboard paint... and magnetic too, how cool! Good luck with the rest of the rooms and keeping those cute kids out of trouble!

LOVE the colors you chose for Isaac's room! Can't wait to see Ainsley's roomas her colors are the same as Elodie's (I've decided to do hot pink and orange for Addysen's room)

Can't wait to see you when you come to Az. I can't believe you are coming during the summer!

AND, I love the picture of Ainsley in her little dress! SO cute!

I'm impressed at how clean they were in their mess making. No paint on the walls or carpet- how fortunate!

The room looks great, as do the kids.

Oh my goodness! You have your hands full... Did you tub come clean? Issac's room is very cute. You are brave to put up a chalkboard wall. I have thought about it, but I thought it would encourage them to color on my other walls. You'll have to let me know how it goes. Your kiddos are cute. Love the pics!
