Both of the kids were beyond excited to wake up this morning to a yard covered in white.
I quote the boy, "It's raining snow. There's enough to make a snowman. Basically enough to make 100 snowmen. This is going to be the best day ever".
I say it's ALWAYS a good day when daddy comes home early from work and we play all afternoon!

Wow! Looks like FUN! Don't you live in AZ?!
Wow...that DOES look like the best day EVER!!!! Oh that silly Ike : )
YOu guys really got a lot!! How fun! I heard it was snowing in Louisiana too- closed the schools because of it!!!
And it's definitely a great day when dad is home!
I love that Ainsley looks like a seal in the snow :) How fun, Hunter is still talking about playing in the snow from a couple of weeks ago
ohhhhhhhhh NICE!!! We have had some snow too..We still have snow in the yard from Monday =)
so fun! did you move?
I knew you were in Dallas! I just forgot. I didn't know it snowed so much there! What a fun day.
You know, I'm kind of scared to see the ticker get smaller. I've been so preoccupied - with the holidays and yet another move (we're in South Jordan now) - that I don't feel very emotionally prepared.
Speaking of timeing, Laci was 10 days early and Jacob was 6 days late... I hope this one will choose to come sooner than later - and hopefully, I will feel more prepared in the next 13 weeks as we get settled here.
Dear Brooke, I'm really mad at the computer right now. It's stupid. I couldn't get it to work right... oh well. You aren't missing anything special. :)
I got your note on FB... I'm glad you decided not to share the flu with me, although I did have it probably at the same time. :( EW! I seem to be good at getting the flu during flu season. 3 times. I get sick a lot or something-its my students sharing with me. Anyways, next time you come, we'll get together for sure!
brooke! your photos look a-m-a-z-i-n-g! seriously, you've got mad skills!
hope you're well...looked like a fun snow day!

Because I love you, I blogged a new post. It has a picture and I am pretty sure you won't get sick of looking at it. :) It's not chicken veins, I promise. Can you tell I had chicken for dinner and I thought of you because I found a vein. It was disgusting, and I don't think I like chicken anymore.
Love these pictures. My favorite thing is bright colors against the snow. These are beautiful!
Fun that you got a bit of white stuff in your neighborhood!
