Past Due

I haven't been feeling good lately. 13 weeks to be exact. Which means I only have 6 months left of feeling sick and tired. I am one of those lucky women, who is sick the ENTIRE NINE MONTHS of pregnancy. So Fun!

I spend my days doing as little as possible. The more I do, the sicker I get. I am lucky that my kids love to entertain each other!!! (also VERY lucky, they can get their own drinks and a lot of times food! Yes I buy frozen peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, and I don't feel bad at all!!)

One of their favorites is dress-up. These aren't their halloween costumes, but as soon as walmart put out their stuff, the kids each picked a couple to add to the dress-up box. Hours of entertainment.
This is also one of Isaac's favorite things to do right now . . .

Isaac is all about "making" music these days. Anyone who knows Mike, knows this would be HIS kid!

The other day Isaac and I had a talk about money. He was just so sure we make a million dollars and can buy him any toys he wants. I told him no one has that money, except maybe Hannah Montana. His response, "Well I can sing, play the drums, and guitar. I could be a jonas brother. Then I would have a million dollars!" Judging by the picture above, he is on the right track!

Last but not least, we just got back from San Antonio. We went for a quick trip to sea world. Let me tell you FUN FUN FUN, but so exhausting. I overdid it a bit, and am still paying for it. Morning sickness and long days in the sun just don't mix well.

Here's a shocker, I didn't take any pictures. I took maybe five. That's it. I had to concentrate on putting one foot in front of the other and holding two little people's hands, no energy left over for picture taking. Which is fine. I was enjoying the moment(s) with my kids.

Ainsley sat and watched the ENTIRE Shamu show without blinking. Isaac laughed through the ENTIRE Sea Lion show. We all liked feeding the dolphins. The kids were too afraid to pet the dolphins. . . as soon as they saw the teeth, but you better believe Mike and I took advantage.

Off to go take a quick nap while the kids are playing. Although I don't know if ten minutes counts as a "real" nap. But I will take it! Just want to throw this out there, the kids and I wouldn't make this nine months without Michael. He is playing Mr. Dad and Mr. Mom these days, and hasn't complained once. What a champ!

Yea Mike! Keep up the great work!

I LOVE the kids' costumes. We did the same thing, and it's been hours of endless fun.

I'm so excited for little baby Morty to come. I am also so excited you are letting me name him/her. You're the best. :)

Congratulations! I am so excited for you...not the sickness part, but the end result. And I love the creativity of your children. And their independence. I'm going to have to take some cues from you!

Sea World is so fun huh! We loved it- even 15 month old little Addysen enjoyed and even now will raise her hands in the air when you start chanting "Shamu! Shamu!" We can't wait to go back!

I love seeing pictures of your kids. They are so cute. Feel better, and good luck!
I guess that means I better start cracking cuz I'm usually only a few months after you are.

Congrats! Congrats! So sorry you are sick..that's the pits. I totally won't judge you on feeding your kids frozen pb&j's if you won't judge me for feeding my kids chicken nuggets for 4 straight meals (yes...that includes one breakfast!)

Numero tres, eh? Woohoo!!! You know, if you decide three is too many, you can just send him/her my way...I'm looking pregnant these days you know...without the actual pregnancy of course....but I would LOVES me a baby soon, he, he!

I'm glad you're doing well.

Love the pic of I as the 4th Jonas brother....I think there are big things in store for this little guy...just don't let him sell-out to Disney mouseketeer life for anything less than $10 million...you know the track record of those Disney alumni after the peak of their careers...it gets a little rough getting big gigs after that...actually, don't encourage the Jonas brother wannabe thing at all...guide him in the direction of something more Bono-esque...much better track record for longevity...anwayssssss, I will stop dragging this one-sided conversation out.

Can't wait to hear more about the baby on the way!!

sounds like you & kyra are due around the same time. i took zofran to deal with the morning sickness. i'm such a wuss! as for price range, i always spend my discretionary money, but chad has more because he's not a spender like me. he's the one that suggested using his money to get a camera. i'm thinking we expect to pay $1,000ish plus or minus. we've heard the cannon rebel is good, but we don't know...

oh, & i forgot to mention how i love that you can admit to the frozen pb&j thing. we're more of cereal people ourselves. the perfect odorless meal or snack :)

Brooke-so funny that you would remember I make Chck Noodle Soup! We saw Brian and Mon at Evalynn's sealing and we heard the big news-congrats on baby #3! We love and miss you guys!

Brooke, I've taken Leah to some hair cutting place in Toys R Us if you can believe it and they do a pretty good job (and they sit in cars and watch movies). They're about $15. You could also go to Sweet and Sassy near Gaylord/Preston intersection (a little girl's spa place)...they are also only $15 for a cut. I've never taken her for a hair cut there yet, but I probably will next time.
