A sunBEAM
Someone wasn't too happy about moving up from nursery. In all honesty he hated every minute of singing time. Poor guy was scared and was trying hard not to cry. When I aked him about it later he said it was, "boring, and he didn't want to sing." He loved his actual class though. If you look around his lips, you will get a small hint as to why. That's right, they bribed him with an oreo. At least he was enjoying himself by the end of church. He is excited about inviting some of the boys in his class to come over and play. I know he will have a great year. I am a little sad though, some days he is just growing up too fast..

that's a hard transition from life of toys and snacks to having to sit through singing and lesson with no toys and snacks. I hear ya.

shoot me an email and we'll converse more details. marileyjohnson@yahoo
thanks!!!
I'm all for bribery! I think people looked at me funny yesterday when at 8am, I was feeding my kids suckers and m&ms just to get them to sit still during Sacrament. Whatever works though!
He's such a big boy now mom! It really hits you when they get to go up and sing during sacrament! That's when I realized how big Elodie was!
Big boy! :)
what a big boy!!!I cant believe he is as old as my primary class was last year...smart teacher with the oreos!
Lets DO get them together some time to play. That would be fun!
I love his face. Growing up is hard to do...It's amazing how fast those sunbeams change over the first few months though
i'm his new teacher...we'll have a blast. and, like the other teachers am not above bribery...cookies, beanbags, puppets and games...it's all good.
It seriously is SO hard. Sometimes (every now and then) Leah still wishes for nursery...He's so cute though. Next week'll be even better!
