Day 2: We added the theme cow to our chart, along with the new vocabulary word Calf, and Hey Diddle Diddle, as our poem.
Moving and mooing just like a cow.
Coloring cows.
Reviewing the Letter A with apples and paint.
Day 3: Color Black and the Shape Square are added to our chart.
Making Marshmallow Squares.
Today was one of those days when we struggled to keep our clothes on. . .
Ainsley wasn't in the mood for nap time today so joined in the fun. Concentrating hard to make squares just like her big brother.
BUSTED Miss Rose!
Making shrinky dinks (I got mine at Michaels in the scrapbooking section) for grandparents. We did some square magnets and not on the agenda rectangle bookmarks.
Eyes glued to the oven waiting for the shrinky dinks to be done cooking.
Finished product.

Awesome! You are a great mom. I need to do more of this stuff with my kids. Love the shrinky dinks. I need to find some.
I love seeing all your ideas. This is the kind of thing I have been thinking about for Jackson too. Wahoo. Just a little less complicated for a while. Thanks! :)
Man! You are so creative! I love all the great ideas you have... I think I just need a copy of all of your lesson plans! :) It is so great that you take time to do all of that with your kids.
So great. I love it!
How fun! Isn't teaching your children the most fun ever?!!? I am totally stealing your "kindness jar" idea and Con will be betting one. I don't think he's able to understand the reward when it's full quite yet, but I think he'll LOVE putting a bead in a jar when I catch him being sweet (he's having major sister-hair-pulling incidents of late). Have fun!
You're the best mommy ever. Can I be in your class? I can't believe how big he is :)
